The Lifestory of Linda Irene Foti (Lay)

A New Chapter - 01 June 2006

This is a new chapter....and I would hope that we can all add the old memories somehow into the new memories to create a peace of mind out of all this.

I can start it with...Serena laughs and we see her beautiful smile that so imitates her Nana. I see Linda in her smile and in return it makes me smile. I feel her love in Haley's hugs and in return it makes me feel warm. I hear her brothers and sisters laugh and in return I hear her laughing. I have started to see everyone begin to live again and in return I know she is at peace because of that.

Xmas morning 2002, I'll never forget mom and Linda had it together in Linda's livingroom..oh my god! Nobody could move. Between the presents, the moms, the kids, the kids siginficant other and the grandkids...holy cow! Those who had seen how small the livingroom was, know what I mean. But they made it fun! I remember watching her so excited about Haley opening her presents.

...every year at xmas time Linda, Cathy and Sandy took their grandkids to see santa and Linda made sure she included her godchildren also.

I remember when...

...When Josh and I were little we would get so excited because mom was taking us to Duran beach and Aunt Linda, Jay and Peach were going with us.

...Mom had moved in with Linda back a few years ago to help them both with finances and I remember mom being so happy like a little girl again and I asked her about it...she told me because she was so happy to have her big sister back again. It was like reliving being kids. They got to do everything together again...like having breakfast, friday beers, doing their hair and make-up, dressing to go out, venting about the kids or the men, waking up together on xmas morning...SISTER THINGS. Thanks Lin!! For giving mom that memory she will smile to everyday, because I believe that's what is keeping her going today.

She told me...

things she told us...

...I always admired Aunt Linda for her parties becasue no matter how they turned out or who came her smile made it a party and everytime I through a party, I thought about how she did hers and learned from it. I remember when I through a birthday party for Nailina and she came up behind me and told me how good of a job I do at my parties...I smiled and said "thanks to you"...it's a small memory but it meant so much from the queen of the parties...I'll always remember that!...Jaima

...a few months before the wedding, Mel and I were having a disagreement and I was venting with Lin and mom, I remember her telling me "Jai you can see how much Mel loves you, he cherishes you and we can all see that when he's with you. That's what you need to hold on to." and now when we have an arguement I think of that and I can step away from our problem....Jaima

I have a habit of always comparing myself to others. She told me don't ever do that because you can loose the value of you..and that would be our loss, so for you hon, and to your memory, I will try to start a new page an know your out there somewhere watching over us all an loving us as you always have....Cathy

I Know You're Out There Somewhere - 02 June 2007

I Know You're Out There Somewhere Lyrics
Artist(Band):Moody Blues

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

The mist is lifting slowly
I can see the way ahead
And I've left behind the empty streets
That once inspired my life
And the strength of the emotion
Is like thunder in the air
'Cos the promise that we made each other
Haunts me to the end

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere you can hear my voice
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
I know I'll find you somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

The secret of your beauty
And the mystery of your soul
I've been searching for in everyone I meet
And the times I've been mistaken
It's impossible to say
And the grass is growing
Underneath our feet

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere you can hear my voice
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
I know I'll find you somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

From the words that I remember
From my childhood still are true
That there's none so blind
As those who will not see
And to those who lack the courage
And say it's dangerous to try
Well they just don't know
That love eternal will not be denied

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere you can hear my voice
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
I know I'll find you somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

Yes I know it's going to happen
I can feel you getting near
And soon we'll be returning
To the fountain of our youth
And if you wake up wondering
In the darkness I'll be there
My arms will close around you
And protect you with the truth

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere you can hear my voice
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
I know I'll find you somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you
